On one of the Kennedy family music trips around Australia John became very interested in comedy Australian bush poetry, and was inspired by Australian poets such as Milton Taylor, Bobby Miller, Neil Macarthur, Mark Gliori and others. John has performed both locally and around the country, leaving his audiences in stitches with his extensive comedy poetry repertoire.
