Luke Dickens makes his debut appearance on the country tour circuit with a nod to the fans who put him on the Grand Final stage in Australian Idol 2008. Luke’s unique sound has made his name unanimous with blues, soul and good old Aussie rock. It’s these 3 things he brings to the stage in Guns for Hire.

Named after an original track, the tour salutes the place he came from. In the shearing trade, the best in the business is known around the shed as “The Gun.” So it’s only fitting really.

Backed by 3 great Aussie musicians, Luke will perform an intimate show with the best of the past 50 years of rock n blues. Along with Luke’s own original tracks, the audience will be treated to Stevie Wonder, Barnsey, The Doors & The Beatles just to name a few.
